Instructions for using 3M moist heat sterilization biological indicator:
Place it inside the high-pressure sterilization pot to be verified, or inside the object to be sterilized. After sterilization, take out the crushed culture medium and contact it with the spore strips. Incubate at 55-60 ℃ for 24 hours.
Turning yellow after cultivation indicates bacterial growth, sterilization failure, and purple indicates successful sterilization.
Notes:
During the sterilization process, avoid soaking the head of the biological indicator, otherwise it may cause false positives;
After sterilization, crush the culture medium at least 10 minutes later, otherwise ampoule fragments may cause injury. Wear protective goggles when crushing the biological indicator.
