What is3D Volume Printing?
Volumetric 3D printing uses shape beams from multiple angles to rapidly solidify photosensitive printing materials in three-dimensional space. Due to the simultaneous illumination of the entire printing target structure, centimeter level printing target structures can be produced within a few seconds. After printing is completed, simple processing is required to separate and collect the printed target structure from the uncured printing material.

Tomolite3D Volume Printing
Unlike traditional 3D bioprinters, Tomolite volumetric 3D bioprinters are based on light and do not generate any shear stress on the printed cells. Meanwhile, due to the extremely low light dose (<600 mJ/cm ²) and photoinitiator content (e.g. 1mg/mL LAP) used, the impact on cell activity is minimal, making Tomolite volumetric 3D bioprinter a truly suitable 3D bioprinting technology for printing live cells and organoids.

The entire printing process of the Tomolite volumetric 3D bioprinter is carried out in a sealed and sterile printing cup, with no contact between the printing material, printer, or external environment. The printer does not need to be specifically placed in a biosafety cabinet or sterile environment, and there are no strict requirements for the laboratory environment.
The printing cup is a glass cup that can withstand high temperature and high pressure sterilization, with different specifications of 5-22mm. The appropriate size of the printing cup can be selected according to the target printing structure size. At the same time, excess printing materials can be recycled, greatly saving printing materials.
