Working principle of vacuum assisted self-priming sewage pump
The vacuum assist device with vacuum assisted self-priming pump mainly consists of components such as controller, vacuum pump, steam water separator, liquid level sensor, exhaust valve, etc. connected by wires and pipelines, and installed on the self-priming pump. The liquid level sensor is installed inside the exhaust valve, which is installed at the inlet of the self-priming pump. Above the exhaust valve, a pipeline is connected through an electromagnetic valve and the suction port of the steam water separator vacuum pump. The liquid level sensor, self-priming pump motor, and vacuum pump motor are connected to the control cabinet through power lines to achieve automatic control of the vacuum pump and self-priming pump through the control cabinet key. The outlet of the vacuum pump is equipped with a check valve. Press the start button on the control cabinet, and the vacuum pump will start first (it can also be made into a vacuum pump or self-priming pump to start). The inlet pipeline of the self-priming pump and the air inside the pump body will be evacuated, forming a vacuum negative pressure state between the pump body and inlet pipeline, so that the medium fills the inlet pipeline and pump body of the self-priming pump. After the self-priming pump body and inlet pipeline are filled with water, they will enter the exhaust valve installed above the self-priming pump outlet. When the liquid level in the exhaust valve reaches a certain position, the liquid level sensor in the exhaust valve will transmit a signal to the control cabinet. The control cabinet will then close the vacuum pump and solenoid valve, and start the self-priming pump to enter normal working state. Electromagnetic valves and steam water separators can ensure that water does not enter the vacuum pump and cause damage to the vacuum pump. Anyway, if the liquid in the exhaust valve drops, it proves that the suction force of the self-priming pump itself is not enough. The liquid level sensor will transmit a signal to the control cabinet, and the control cabinet will restart the vacuum pump to assist the self-priming pump in increasing the suction stroke.

1. Before maintenance and cleaning of the self-priming pump, ensure that the power supply is turned off, the residual liquid in the pump body is discharged, and the inlet and outlet are closed. Maintenance personnel should wear protective clothing and face shields, safety shoes, and socks
2. Regularly check the access buttons to prevent foreign objects from blocking the pump body and causing the motor to spin and burn out the pump.
3. The combination of motor and pump must be calibrated accurately to make the motor and pump in the same line.
4. The shaft seal cover is fixed on the rear axle seal, and when the rear cover is locked on the foot seat, it must be in the center of the pump.
5. The fixing screw of the impeller locks the impeller in a clockwise direction. The gap between the impeller and the middle cover is about 1-1.5mm, and the size of the gap will cause wear on the impeller.
