Precautions for using industrial muffle furnace:
1、 When using a muffle furnace to heat workpieces, do not add a heating plate:
Each muffle furnace is equipped with a corresponding size of firing plate, and all heated workpieces, including containers for loading workpieces, should be heated on top of the firing plate. Try to avoid placing it directly on the ceramic fiber board at the bottom of the furnace, which may cause uneven local stress or high local temperature on the fiber board and damage the bottom of the furnace.
2、 To cool down the muffle furnace, open the furnace door at high temperatures:
Because the insulation effect of the muffle furnace is very good, the energy consumption during insulation is very low, and the temperature drops slowly after the power supply is stopped. Some customers hope to immediately move on to the next experiment after completing one, so they open the furnace door at high temperatures to achieve a high cooling rate. However, this can cause significant damage to the muffle furnace, with one cooling and the other heatingeasyCausing furnace cracking, the heating element cannot withstand such cold and hot shocks. We generally recommend that the muffle furnace be cooled to at least 600 ℃ before carefully opening the furnace door. If it is indeed necessary to use high-temperature handling parts, consideration should be given to whether a silicon carbide furnace can be used.
3、 Do not dry the oven when reusing after a long shutdown:
This is also veryeasyOne overlooked detail is that almost all customers are able to perform oven drying when using the furnace. But many customers forget to use the oven again after shutting down for more than a week. Ceramic fiberboard has a large number of small pores, which may adsorb water vapor and other impurities if it cannot be used for a long time. Therefore, according to the requirements, baking can effectively remove water vapor from the pores.
