With the acceleration of industrialization and the improvement of various equipment automation levels, the application of precision electronic components such as frequency converters, servo amplifiers, PLC controllers, etc. is becoming increasingly common. The above-mentioned equipment generates heat during normal operation. If this heat is not transferred in a timely manner, it will cause an increase in the temperature inside the control cabinet. Once the temperature inside the cabinet exceeds 45 ℃ (when the air temperature inside the cabinet exceeds 40 ℃, due to the heat island effect, the surface temperature of the heating components on the circuit board will exceed 55 ℃), it will affect the stability of the electrical equipment and easily lead to the problem of circuit board components burning out.
The commonly used method currently is to install exhaust fans on the control cabinet, and transfer heat inside the cabinet by strengthening the convection of air inside and outside the cabinet. Although installing exhaust fans for cooling is simple, it inevitably encounters some problems. The environment in which most machining centers or complete sets of equipment are located is not very ideal, and there may be dust in the surrounding air. High temperature corrosive flue gas will be adsorbed onto the surface of the circuit board due to electrostatic effects under convection, forming dirt. With the passage of working time, the dirt accumulated on the surface of the circuit board will become thicker and thicker, leading to various problems: firstly, excessive dirt further hinders the heat dissipation of power devices on the circuit board, exacerbating the heat island effect; Secondly, the accumulated dirt itself is corrosive, and after prolonged contact with the circuit board, it will cause corrosion and damage to the surface mount components and thinner printed lines in the printed circuit board; Furthermore, excessive dirt will become a conductor when exposed to moisture, causing a short circuit in the high-voltage section of the circuit board. The longer the working hours, the worse the surrounding environment of the control cabinet, and the more serious the above problems will be. When they accumulate to a certain extent, they will cause sudden failures.
Cabinet air conditioning is installed on a closed control cabinet through a compressor cooling method, transferring the heat and moisture inside the cabinet to the outside, thereby avoiding the entry of high-temperature dust, moisture, and corrosive gases from the external environment into the control cabinet, which can cause the above-mentioned problems.
