What parameters will affect the accuracy of a glass rotor flowmeter? When selecting a rotary flowmeter or a glass rotary flowmeter, temperature, pressure, measuring medium, measuring range, and other factors are required. Any error in one of these factors can affect the measurement results.
For the case where the measuring medium is a gas, temperature and pressure have the greatest impact on accuracy. Gas is easily compressed, and changes in temperature and pressure can cause changes in the density of the gas. When calibrating the scale, flowmeter manufacturers may affect the calibration based on these parameters. In fact, for gas flow meters, there may be some slight errors in the results measured in different environments.

The second issue is the flow range, and the flow range should also be provided accurately. Do not assume that for the same caliber flowmeter, the larger the flow rate, the better. The flow rate of glass rotor flowmeter and metal tube rotor flowmeter is 10 times smaller and larger, and the commonly used flow rate is usually around 60% of the flow range. Therefore, when selecting, this flow range should also be considered.
