Academician Tang Benzhong once said that in today's rapidly developing field of basic and applied sciences, there may seem to be independent but intricate connections between various disciplines. If we view the development of various disciplines as independent avenues, chiral research undoubtedly serves as a bridge connecting different roads... It plays an important role in revealing many natural phenomena and laws.

Laurence A. Nafie, Winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award for Raman Spectroscopy, Editor in Chief of the Journal of Raman Spectroscopy, Honorary Professor at Syracuse University in the United States, renowned scientist in the field of international molecular spectroscopy, pioneer in chiral vibrational spectroscopy research, co inventor of chiral Raman spectroscopy technology, founding editor in chief of BioSpectroscopy magazine under John Wiley&Sons, and editorial board member of multiple international academic journals. Has won the Coblentz Award (1981), Bomem Michelson Award (2001), William F. Meggers Award (2001), Outstanding Contribution Award in the Field of Applied Spectroscopy (2007), Coblentz Honorary Member (2012), Pittsburgh Spectroscopy Award (2013), Applied Spectroscopy Gold Award (2014), Handheld Science Medal (2019), Honorary Member of the Society for Applied Spectroscopy (2020), and Raman Lifetime Achievement Award (2022). Professor Nafie has extensive cooperation with international enterprises and co founded BioTools in the United States with Dr. Rina Dukor, possessing rich experience in industrial application research.
He Yujian, Professor of School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Executive Director of the Chinese Society of Space Sciences and Vice Chairman of the Professional Committee of Origin of Life and Chemical Evolution. He confirmed through experiments the natural conformational selection of the four helix structure of human chromosome telomere DNA, which may be closely related to human aging; The theory of 'natural Earth orbit chiral force field' has been proposed to unify and explain multiple classic academic challenges in the origin of life, such as the chiral origin of biomolecules, the origin of biological clocks, the origin of JUNK DNA, the directionality and driving forces of molecular evolution, etc. Due to its outstanding performance and academic innovation in the fields of human chromosome telomere structure and the origin of life, it was awarded the 2005/2006 Lee Foundation Outstanding Achievement Award in the United States.
Che Shunai, inorganic chemist, Changjiang Distinguished Professor of the Ministry of Education, Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Distinguished Professor at Tongji University, and Visiting Professor at Stockholm University in Sweden.Winner of the International Mesoscopic Structure Materials Association Award, first prize winner of the Ministry of Education's Natural Science Award, and recipient of the National Natural Science Outstanding Youth Fund.Serving as an editorial board member or advisory committee member for Inorg. Chem., Interface, and SCIENCE CHINA Materials, a council member of the International Mesoscopic Structural Materials Association, a member of the Chinese Molecular Sieve Society, and a fellow of the Chinese Chemical Society. He has made creative academic contributions in the design of mesoscopic structures and self-assembly methods of chiral inorganic materials, as well as the exploration of their properties. (1) A new method for synthesizing multi-level chiral mesoscopic inorganic materials with multidimensional, multi-scale, and "chiral stacking chirality" has been established, which has opened up the research field of chiral mesoscopic inorganic materials. (2) Various chiral anisotropy (ChA) of chiral mesoscopic inorganic materials have been discovered, such as optical activity (OA), including reflection, absorption, and emission based OA, electrocatalytic ChA, surface enhanced Raman ChA, photo magnetic ChA, resistance ChA, cell growth ChA, etc.
