homogenizerIt is an industrial equipment that achieves material mixing, dispersion, and emulsification through mechanical action, mainly divided into high-pressure homogenizers, laboratory homogenizers, sterile homogenizers, and other types. Its core function is to achieve nanoscale uniform dispersion of materials through physical effects such as shear force and void effect.
Working principle of homogenizer:
The precise fit between the rotor and stator, the claw structure of the working head (rotor and stator forging manufacturing), bidirectional suction, and high shear efficiency. The intermittent high shear dispersing emulsifying homogenizer utilizes the high-speed and smooth rotation of the rotor to generate high-frequency, strong circumferential tangential velocity, angular velocity, and other comprehensive kinetic energy efficiency; Under the action of the stator, a strong and reciprocating hydraulic shear, friction, centrifugal extrusion, liquid flow collision and other comprehensive effects are formed in the reasonably narrow gap between the stator and rotor. The material works in a cyclic manner in the container to obtain the final product.
Special scenario handling:
Aseptic homogenization operation:
Put the sample into the sterile bag, adjust the distance of the clapping plate to just contact the sample, and set the appropriate time and speed. Clean and disinfect the homogenization box before and after operation.
High pressure homogenization parameter setting:
Industrial models need to be depressurized before adjusting the secondary and primary valves. Before starting, the filter status and pipeline sealing should be checked. When the pressure is abnormal, it is necessary to check for leaks in the pump body air or homogenization valve.
Common operational issues:
Bubble generation problem:
When using a homogenizer, the blade should be inserted diagonally and slowly into the material, keeping the blade fully submerged in the liquid surface to avoid vertical insertion that may cause air bubbles to mix in. When dealing with materials containing bubbles, it is necessary to readjust the operating procedures.
Unstable pressure:
Check the wear of the homogenization valve (replace if the gap exceeds 0.1mm)
Confirm the sealing performance of the plunger (maintenance is required if the wear exceeds 0.02mm)
Check whether the feeding system is mixed with air or blocked
