Light fermentation tankIt is a specialized equipment that combines light technology with traditional fermentation processes, mainly used for light dependent cultivation of microorganisms or plant cells. By precisely controlling light conditions and other environmental parameters, the cultivation process is optimized to improve the yield and quality of the target product.
Light fermentation tankThe design balances functionality and durability, with the main structures including:
tank material
High quality stainless steel (such as 304 or 316L) or glass is often used, which is resistant to high pressure, corrosion, and easy to clean. The inner wall of the tank is polished to mirror level (Ra ≤ 0.4 μ m) to prevent microbial adhesion.
Lighting system
Lighting form: divided into external, external cover or embedded type. For example, the Labfors Lux light fermentation tank uses an external light source to ensure the projection effect of light.
Light intensity adjustment: It can be adjusted by the controller in any percentage (such as 0-10000 lux) to meet the needs of different plant cells or microorganisms.
Mixing and Ventilation System
Mixing methods: including magnetic mixing (no risk of sealing leakage) or mechanical mixing (such as turbine agitator), supporting both bacterial and cellular modes.
Gas distributor: located at the bottom of the tank, commonly made of sintered metal or ceramic microporous materials, disperses air into small bubbles and increases the gas-liquid contact area.
control system
Using PLC (such as BioCore QPF desktop illuminated plant cell fermentation tank) or dedicated controller (such as X-DDC) to achieve stable and reliable parameter control. Some devices support hardware and software filtering to improve data accuracy.
Accessibility
Equipped with pin feeding interface, skin tube feeding interface, inoculation port, defoaming function, etc., to meet different experimental needs. For example, three peristaltic pumps can be arbitrarily designated for adding acid, alkali, or feed.
