1、 Daily cleaning (must be done after each use, takes 1 minute to complete)

Use a clean soft cloth (or dust-free paper) to wipe the edges, handle, and connections of scissors, remove tissue residue and stains, and avoid residual corrosion of metal.

If there are stubborn stains, gently wipe them with a cotton swab dipped in a small amount of anhydrous ethanol, and then dry them with a dry cloth. Do not rinse with water (to prevent internal rust).

2、 Regular lubrication (once a week, suitable for daily frequency)

For the scissor shaft connection, apply 1-2 drops of specialized instrument lubricating oil (or medical white oil) without excessive use to avoid oil contamination of the sample.

After dripping oil, open and close the scissors 5-10 times repeatedly to evenly cover the connection with lubricating oil, reducing opening and closing lag and wear.

3、 Blade maintenance (once a month to maintain sharpness)

Use a specialized small grinding stone (or tool grinding blade) to gently polish both sides of the blade, with gentle force, for 10-15 seconds each time, to avoid dulling or damaging the blade.

After polishing, clean the cutting edge with a soft cloth and then apply 1 drop of lubricating oil for maintenance to prevent oxidation and rust of the cutting edge.

4、 Storage and taboos (key to avoid pitfalls and minimize malfunctions)

When storing, close the scissors and place them in a dry, dust-free tool box to avoid collision with other metal tools and prevent the blade from cracking and the handle from deforming.

It is prohibited to use tissue scissors to cut hard objects (such as plastic and metal wire), and it is forbidden to forcefully break and close the scissors to avoid loosening of the shaft and deformation of the cutting edge.

When not in use for a long time, thoroughly clean and lubricate it, then wrap it in dust-free paper for storage to avoid erosion in humid environments.
