Fully automatic blowing and capturing deviceIt is an advanced sample pretreatment equipment widely used in environmental monitoring, food safety, pharmaceutical research and development, and other fields. Its core function is to efficiently extract and concentrate volatile or semi volatile organic compounds in samples through blowing and trapping techniques, providing highly sensitive and accurate samples for subsequent analysis.
This device is based on dynamic headspace technology, using helium or nitrogen as the purge gas to continuously release volatile components from the liquid or solid phase of the sample through a continuous gas flow, and transfer them to a capture device equipped with an adsorbent for concentration. Its workflow includes five stages: sample preparation, blowing, trapping, thermal desorption, and chromatographic analysis: blowing gas is introduced into the sample at a specific flow rate to disrupt gas-liquid equilibrium and release volatile components; Capture devices enrich target compounds through adsorbents or cold traps; The thermal desorption stage decomposes and desorbs the captured components through heating, and then enters the gas chromatograph (GC) or mass spectrometer (MS) with the carrier gas for qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Fully automatic blowing and capturing deviceMain functions:
1、 Core function: Separation and concentration of volatile components
Blow function
Principle: Introduce inert gas (such as high-purity nitrogen or helium) into the sample at a constant flow rate, disrupt the gas-liquid or gas-solid equilibrium of the sample, and release volatile components (VOCs/SVOs) into the gas phase.
Advantages: Constant airflow ensures sampling accuracy, avoids human interference, and improves repeatability.
Capture function
Principle: The released volatile components are concentrated through adsorbents (such as activated carbon, Tenax, polymer resins) or cold traps to enrich the target compound.
Advantages: Efficient enrichment of trace substances, improved analytical sensitivity, and reduced subsequent detection limits.
Thermal desorption function
Principle: Heating the trap causes the adsorbed components to desorb and enter the analytical instrument (such as gas chromatograph GC or gas chromatography-mass spectrometry GC-MS) with the carrier gas (such as helium).
Advantages: Achieve rapid concentration and analysis of samples, avoid solvent interference, and improve peak resolution.
2、 Automation and intelligent functions
Fully automatic control system
Parameter preset: Set parameters such as blowing time, temperature, and flow rate through a microcomputer program or touch screen, supporting standard methods such as EPA and HJ (such as EPA 5030/8260).
One click operation: Simplify the process, reduce manual intervention, and minimize errors.
Status monitoring: Real time display of working status and running time, with power on self-test and fault alarm functions.
Automatic sampling and sample processing
Liquid samples: Automatic precise sampling (such as μ L level accuracy) to blow bottles, supporting batch processing (such as 12/24 sample trays).
Solid samples: Automatically add extractants (such as distilled water), release VOCs through oscillation (vortex, ultrasound, or heating), and directly blow and capture them.
Anti cross contamination: Solid liquid dual needle design independent channel, pipeline inertization treatment (PEEK material or silane treated stainless steel pipe), reducing residual interference.
Data management and integration functions
Software support: Equipped with dedicated software to achieve data collection, processing, and report generation, compatible with analytical instruments such as GC/MS.
Synchronous Start: Provides a synchronous interface to start both the chromatography and workstation simultaneously during sample injection, improving efficiency.
3、 Safety and environmental protection functions
Leak proof design
Closed structure: prevents the leakage of volatile substances and ensures the safety of operators.
Temperature overload protection: to prevent the heating module from overheating and damaging the equipment.
Leakage protection: Ensure electrical safety.
Environmental characteristics
Solvent free use: Avoid secondary pollution of the environment by organic solvents.
Water vapor management: The water trap removes water vapor at the blowing end, reducing the impact of water vapor on GC/MS and extending the lifespan of the instrument.
