The core principle of parallel light reactor
Date: 2025-11-23Read: 0
Parallel light reactorIt is an instrument used for studying photochemical reactions, which generates parallel light through a specific light source, uniformly irradiates the reaction vessel, and excites reactant molecules to undergo photochemical reactions.
Parallel light reactors generate light of different wavelengths or intensities through specific light sources such as LEDs, xenon lamps, etc., and irradiate the reactants in multiple reaction cells (or tanks). Photons excite the electrons of reactants to transition to high-energy states, triggering the breaking and formation of chemical bonds, thereby promoting chemical reactions. For example, in photocatalytic reactions, the energy of the light source can activate the surface electrons of the catalyst, promote redox reactions, and achieve pollutant degradation or organic synthesis.
  Parallel light reactorFunctional advantages:
1. High throughput experimental capability: Equipped with multi-channel reaction tanks, multiple parallel experiments can be conducted simultaneously, significantly improving experimental efficiency.
2. Precise light and temperature control:
Light source control: supports independent adjustment of wavelength and intensity to meet different reaction requirements.
Temperature control: Wide temperature control range, high accuracy, suitable for low temperature, room temperature or high temperature reaction systems.
3. Inert gas protection and sealing design: Supports inert gas protection such as nitrogen and argon to prevent oxidation of air sensitive reactants and ensure experimental safety.
4. Real time monitoring and data recording: Integrated magnetic stirring and real-time sampling functions, combined with online detection technologies such as UV visible spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy, can dynamically monitor reaction progress and product changes.
