Maintenance methods for oil absorption tester

Oil absorption testerIt is a device used for structural testing of powder materials, mainly for oil absorption testing of carbon black, conductive carbon black, graphite (negative electrode material), silica (white carbon black), and other powder materials.
Testing ability:
Carbon black oil absorption and compression oil absorption values
Oil absorption value of white carbon black
Oil absorption value of negative electrode material
Oil absorption values of other powder materials
The torque value can reach 15Nm (optional 20Nm)

Daily cleaning:
Appearance cleaning: Use a clean and soft damp cloth to wipe the instrument casing, avoiding the use of organic solvents such as ethanol and ether to prevent surface corrosion.
Optical component maintenance: If the instrument contains optical components (such as a spectroscopic system), use specialized lens paper dipped in a mixture of anhydrous ethanol and ether (1:1) to gently wipe to avoid scratching.
Sample injection system maintenance:
After each test, it is necessary to thoroughly rinse the injection pipeline with solvents such as carbon tetrachloride to prevent residue blockage or contamination.
Check the sealing of the injection needle and regularly replace worn sealing rings to ensure injection accuracy.
Calibration and Performance Validation:
Regularly calibrate the absorbance using a standard oil solution and draw a standard curve. It is recommended to perform wavelength calibration every 3-6 months.
If the test results are abnormal, the sensor sensitivity needs to be checked or recalibrated to eliminate operational errors.
Fault prevention:
Establish maintenance logs to record calibration time, component replacement, and exception handling processes.
If there is a leak or data drift, it is necessary to check the sealing of the gas path or contact a professional repair.
