The role of electric flange butterfly valve in the HVAC system of buildings

Electric flange butterfly valve is a key component widely used for fluid control in industrial pipelines, mainly used for opening and closing, regulating flow rate, and controlling the direction of fluid flow. It is composed of a butterfly valve body, an actuator (electric drive device), a valve control system, etc., and has the advantages of simple structure, easy operation, and high reliability. The working principle is to drive the valve stem to rotate through an electric actuator, which in turn drives the valve disc to rotate, controlling the on/off and flow regulation of the fluid. The valve disc is circular and installed in the center of the valve body. By rotating, the area of the fluid flow channel is changed to control the fluid flow rate. When the valve disc is in the closed position, the sealing surface between the valve body and the valve disc is in close contact, and fluid cannot pass through; When the valve disc rotates to the open position, the fluid flow channel is maximized and the valve is in the open state.
The electric actuator is driven by an electric motor and automatically adjusts the position of the valve disc through control signals, thereby accurately controlling flow or opening and closing valves. Electric actuators usually include motors, reducers, transmission devices, etc., which can convert electrical energy into mechanical energy and drive the valve disc to rotate.
