Daily inspection and maintenance of ceramic muffle furnace
Date: 2025-10-09Read: 1
Ceramic muffle furnaceAs a key equipment in high-temperature experiments and industrial production, its maintenance directly affects equipment life, experimental accuracy, and safety.
Ceramic muffle furnaceDaily inspection and maintenance:
Appearance and structural inspection
Furnace integrity: Check the furnace body weekly for cracks, deformations, or detached ceramic fibers, with particular attention to whether the furnace door sealing strip is aging.
Connecting components: Check if the power cord and thermocouple wiring are loose to avoid poor contact that may cause temperature fluctuations or equipment malfunctions.
Ventilation system: Ensure that the heat dissipation holes are unobstructed, the fan operates normally (if equipped), and prevent safety hazards caused by overheating.
temperature calibration
Regular calibration: Use a standard thermometer (such as a platinum rhodium thermocouple) to calibrate the temperature inside the furnace every 3-6 months, ensuring that the displayed value has an error of ≤± 1 ℃ compared to the actual value.
Program verification: Run the preset temperature rise program, check if the actual temperature rise curve is consistent with the set value, adjust PID parameters (such as proportional, integral, derivative) to optimize temperature control accuracy.
Heating element inspection
Resistance wire/rod status: Visually inspect the heating element monthly for uniform redness, local blackening or breakage, and replace immediately.
Insulation performance: Use a megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance between the heating element and the furnace body (should be>1M Ω) to prevent leakage.
