In order to implement the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and the Solid Waste Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China, prevent and control environmental pollution caused by hazardous waste, strengthen the management of hazardous waste, protect the ecological environment, and safeguard human health, this standard is formulated. The standard number of "General Rules for Identification Standards of Hazardous Waste" is GB 5085.7-2019, which replaces GB 5085.7-2007 and is implemented on January 1, 2020.
