The operation steps of the carbon dioxide full temperature oscillation incubator are as follows: -
Equipment inspection and preparation
- Ensure that the appearance of the incubator is intact, there are no impurities inside, and the operation panel buttons and display screen are normal.
- Place the incubator on a stable, dry, and well ventilated surface, away from heat sources, water sources, and corrosive gases, leaving at least 30 centimeters of space around for heat dissipation.
- Connect the power supply (220V, 50Hz), ensure stable voltage and correct grounding, and check that the power cord is free of water stains or impurities.
- Dip a soft cloth in neutral detergent to wipe the inner and outer surfaces, then disinfect the interior with 70% ethanol or ultraviolet radiation to ensure a sterile environment.
-
Parameter Settings
-
Temperature settingAdjust the temperature value of the control panel according to experimental requirements (usually 37 ℃, allowable fluctuation ± 0.5 ℃).
-
CO ₂ concentration settingSet the concentration (usually 5%) through the panel knob or numeric keys, and ensure that the output pressure of the pressure reducing valve is within the range of 0.05-0.08MPa when connecting to the CO ₂ gas source.
-
Oscillation functionIf oscillation cultivation is required, start the oscillation switch and set the frequency and amplitude (it is recommended to run at medium speed to extend the equipment life).
-
humidity controlThe equipment automatically maintains humidity (usually 95%) without manual adjustment, but it is necessary to regularly check the water level of the humidification tray and replenish distilled water in a timely manner.
-
Loading and Running
- Place the culture dish or bottle evenly on the tray or bracket to avoid accumulation or obstruction of the air duct and ensure air circulation.
- Close the box door and lock it tightly, ensuring that the sealing strip has no gaps to prevent gas leakage.
- Press the start button, and the device will start self checking and run according to the set parameters. Observe the display screen to confirm that the parameters are stable.
-
Monitoring and Maintenance
- Regularly record temperature, CO ₂ concentration, and humidity data, and verify parameter accuracy using built-in or external detectors.
- After the experiment is completed, first turn off the oscillation function, then stop the equipment operation, remove the culture and clean the inside.
- When not in use for a long time, cut off the power, drain residual water and keep the box dry. Regularly replace the air filter to prevent pollution.
