Release the total electricity consumption of the whole society in June

　On July 14th, the National Energy Administration released data on the total electricity consumption of the whole society in June. In June, the total electricity consumption of the society was 396.5 billion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year increase of 13.0%.

From January to June, the total electricity consumption of the whole society reached 225.15 billion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year increase of 12.2%. By category, the industrial electricity consumption was 47.5 billion kilowatt hours, an increase of 5.9%; The secondary industry has a capacity of 1696.1 billion kilowatt hours, an increase of 11.9%; The tertiary industry has 238.4 billion kilowatt hours, an increase of 15.3%; The daily life of urban and rural residents reached 269.6 billion kilowatt hours, an increase of 12.5%.

From January to June, the cumulative average utilization hours of power generation equipment in China were 2306 hours, an increase of 44 hours year-on-year. Among them, the water and electricity equipment had 1413 hours, which was basically the same as the same period last year; The thermal power equipment has 2592 hours, an increase of 59 hours.

From January to June, the national power production capacity increased by 34.78 million kilowatts (officially put into operation), including 6.24 million kilowatts of hydropower and 23.31 million kilowatts of thermal power. (Source: National Energy Administration)
