Online vacuum degassing pump is a device used in industrial and engineering systems to remove dissolved or free gases from liquids or gases. Its core function is to achieve effective degassing by creating a vacuum environment. ‌
Online vacuum degassing pumps are usually used in conjunction with degassing membranes. The liquid mobile phase enters the deaerator through the inlet and flows through the deaeration membrane tube under the vacuum environment generated by the vacuum pump. According to Henry's Law, under the action of vacuum, gases dissolved in the solvent diffuse through the tube wall into the vacuum chamber, and are then extracted by a vacuum pump to achieve degassing.
Its main functions and application scenarios include:
In the heating/cooling cycle water system, it is installed on the return water pipeline of the system and works through a vacuum deaerator to remove dissolved gases such as oxygen and nitrogen from the water. This can effectively prevent "gas resistance" caused by gas accumulation in pipelines and equipment, avoid pump cavitation, reduce operating noise, and slow down system oxidation corrosion, thereby extending equipment life and improving heat transfer efficiency. ‌
In the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries, it is used to provide a clean vacuum environment for reaction vessels, distillation towers, drying equipment, etc., or to remove gases from products in vacuum packaging, freeze-drying, and other processes to ensure product quality, stability, and shelf life. ‌
In the fields of materials science and precision manufacturing, such as semiconductor manufacturing, optical coating, and photovoltaic industry, it is used to create a high cleanliness vacuum environment, ensuring the accuracy of the production process and the reliability of the finished product. ‌
In the metallurgical industry, vacuum degassing technology is used to treat molten metals, which can remove harmful gases such as hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen, producing purer and better performing steel and alloys. ‌
Maintenance and Care
Regularly check the vacuum pump
Ensure the normal operation of the vacuum pump, check the lubricating oil and seals, and replace worn parts in a timely manner.
System sealing inspection
Prevent external air from seeping into the inside of the deaerator and affecting the deaeration effect.
Internal cleaning
Regularly clean the inside of the deaerator according to the water quality to prevent dirt or sediment from blocking the spray device or filling layer.
