The detailed introduction about the inclined impact testing machine is as follows
Date: 2025-12-18Read: 1
The inclined impact testing machine is a device used to simulate the impact damage resistance of product packaging in actual environments such as transportation, loading and unloading. It is widely used in scientific research institutions, packaging testing centers, and logistics transportation departments.
The inclined impact testing machine mainly works based on the principle of converting the potential energy of an object into kinetic energy. During testing, the packaging is placed on a wheeled trolley in the predetermined state, and the trolley slides along an inclined track (usually adjustable from 0 ° to 10 °), using gravitational potential energy to convert into kinetic energy, so that the trolley obtains a certain impact velocity when sliding to the end. Subsequently, the trolley impacts the impact plate perpendicular to the sliding direction at a predetermined speed, simulating the horizontal impact scenario in actual transportation. By using sensors to record parameters such as velocity, acceleration, and impact force during the impact process, evaluate the performance of the sample under impact.
The inclined impact testing machine mainly consists of a track, a working trolley, a baffle, a release mechanism, and a measurement system.
Track: Two straight and parallel alloy tracks, with adjustable angle between the track plane and the horizontal plane. The surface is clean and smooth, and the scale is divided along the inclined plane. A limit device is installed on the track to allow the trolley to stay at any position on the track.
Work trolley: used to place test samples, usually equipped with wheels for sliding on the track.
Baffle: an impact resistant plate used as a test sample to withstand the impact of packaging.
Release mechanism: used to release the trolley from the predetermined position on the track, allowing it to slide along the track and collide with the barrier.
Measurement system: including speed sensors, acceleration sensors, impact force sensors, etc., used to record key parameters during the impact process.
The inclined impact testing machine is widely used in industries such as packaging, logistics, electronics, automotive parts, as well as research institutions, colleges and universities, packaging technology testing centers, packaging material manufacturing plants, and foreign trade, transportation and other departments. It can simulate horizontal impacts in scenarios such as handling, shelf stacking, locomotive loading and unloading, and transportation bumps, helping enterprises optimize packaging design and reduce damage during transportation. At the same time, it can also be used for research in fields such as materials science and packaging engineering, exploring new packaging materials and technologies.
