Double ended electric friction testing machineMainly used for the degree of surface discoloration of colored materials such as fabrics (textile carpets and other velvet fabrics), leather, etc. after being rubbed by external objects.
Core functions:
Dry wet friction test:
Support dry/wet rubbing color fastness testing of materials such as fabrics, leather, yarn, etc.
Some models are equipped with electronic counters (which can preset 9999 frictions) and dual station designs to improve testing efficiency.
Wear resistance testing:
Used for wear resistance testing of printed materials and coating materials.
Preparation before operation:
Sample and tool preparation:
The sample shall be humidified in a constant temperature and humidity environment to ensure that the color evenly covers the test area (multi-color samples shall be sampled separately).
Prepare standard friction white cotton cloth (to be used separately for dry/wet testing) and gray card (for rating).
Equipment inspection:
Confirm that the power supply is 220V, check if the friction head and fixture are intact, and if the electronic counter is reset to zero.
Operation steps:
Parameter settings:
After turning on, set the friction frequency (such as 10 times), pressure (usually 9N), and speed (1 time/second) through the control panel.
The dual station model requires setting two station parameters separately.
Sample installation:
Fix the sample flat on the test bench, with the length direction consistent with the friction stroke, to avoid sliding or wrinkling.
Dry test: directly fix the white cotton cloth to the friction head; The wet test requires soaking a white cotton cloth to a moisture content of 95% and squeezing and filtering it dry.
Start testing:
Press the start button, and the friction head will automatically move back and forth a set number of times before stopping.
During the testing process, observe whether there are any abnormalities (such as abnormal noise or deviation), and immediately stop the machine for troubleshooting.
Post test processing:
Rating and Records:
Use transparent adhesive to remove loose fluff from the white cotton cloth, place three layers of new white cloth, and compare with the gray card rating (1-5 levels).
Record the dry/wet friction results and pre-treatment methods (if any).
Equipment maintenance:
Clean the friction head and fixture, regularly lubricate the guide rail, and calibrate the sensor accuracy.
