Pump suction samplerMainly used in colorimetric analysis and other scenarios, it can simplify operation steps and improve testing efficiency. The following is its detailed usage method:
1、 Preparation before use
Installation and Connection
Tighten the collection bottle box to the host with screws to ensure a stable connection.
Connecting rubber hoses: Connect one end of two ∅ 4mm × 200mm rubber hoses to the outlet pipe interface and vacuum pump interface on the left side of the host, and the other end to the pipeline interface on the collection bottle (without distinguishing directions). During installation, the rubber hose should be inserted into the interface about 12mm deep to avoid liquid or air leakage.
Connect signal lines: Connect the randomly placed signal lines to the "liquid level detector interface" on the left side of the host and the electrical signal interface on the collection bottle.
Connect the colorimetric tube: Connect one end of two ∅ 4mm × 600mm rubber tubes to the "suction port" and "discharge port" on the instrument panel, and the other end to the "suction port" and "discharge port" of the colorimetric tube in the spectrophotometer.
Power connection: Insert one end of the power cord into the power hole on the back of the host and the other end into a power outlet.
System airtightness test
Rotate the "negative pressure adjustment" knob to 75Kpa and turn on the main power supply.
Observe whether the negative pressure display window gradually increases to around 75Kpa and hear the sound of the vacuum pump working. If the value is not reached within 3-5 minutes, check if there is any air leakage in the pipeline and interface, and if the bottle cap is tightened.
Adjust to the commonly used negative pressure value (such as 25Kpa-35Kpa) for future use.
2、 Operation steps
Sample injection operation
Injection: Press the "Injection" button on the instrument panel (the lock button controlled by the timing circuit), and the two-way valve A will conduct. Insert the "liquid inlet" end of the liquid inlet tube into the sample solution, and the solution enters the colorimetric dish through the liquid inlet tube under negative pressure until the timed time ends. At this point, the solution in the colorimetric dish is still, and colorimetric analysis can be performed using a spectrophotometer.
Injection volume control: Control the injection volume by adjusting the injection timer time or negative pressure value. Under the same timing, the higher the negative pressure, the larger the injection volume, and vice versa.
Drainage and cleaning
Drain: Press the "Drain" button (without a lock button), and the three-way valve B will turn to the "Drain Tube". The solution in the colorimetric dish will flow into the collection bottle through the drain tube under negative pressure. After emptying, release the button and turn three-way valve B back to two-way valve A.
Cleaning: Insert the "inlet" end of the liquid inlet pipe into the cleaning solution, press the "drain" button, and the cleaning solution enters the colorimetric dish and flows into the collection bottle through the three-way valve B. After rinsing for a certain period of time, release the button to end the cleaning.
Liquid collection bottle protection
When the liquid level of the waste liquid in the collection bottle reaches the detection electrode of the bottle cap, the instrument restricts the internal pump from opening to prevent the solution from being sucked into the pump and causing damage. At this point, it is necessary to unscrew the cap of the collection bottle, pour out the waste liquid, rinse with clean water, and then tighten it again.
3、 Precautions
Parameter Settings
Set the injection timing according to the actual situation to ensure that the colorimetric dish is filled and does not inhale too much solution.
The negative pressure value is usually set between 25Kpa-35Kpa to avoid excessive suction of the solution or insufficient injection caused by low pressure.
Pipeline and interface maintenance
Regularly check whether the pipeline and interface connections are reliable to avoid liquid or gas leakage.
When installing the hose, it is necessary to insert it forcefully to the specified depth (about 12mm) to prevent loose connections.
Collection bottle management
Timely clean the waste liquid in the collection bottle to avoid triggering the protection mechanism due to high liquid level.
After cleaning the collection bottle, it is necessary to ensure that the bottle cap is tightened to prevent air leakage from affecting the negative pressure stability.
