1. Equipment preparation and calibration

Zero adjustment operation: After starting up, observe whether the current returns to zero. If it does not return to zero, adjust it to the near zero position through the knob, and then connect the test line.

Electrode maintenance: Clean the surface of the electrode to avoid oil stains or oxide layers affecting contact and ensure even pressure.

Environmental control: It is recommended to test the environment at a temperature of 23 ± 2 ℃, humidity of 40% -50%, and stay away from strong electromagnetic interference sources.

2. Test operation specifications

Sample placement:

When conducting volume resistance testing, the sample should be placed between the upper and lower electrodes, and direct contact with the electrodes is prohibited.

Surface resistance testing requires placing the sample flat to avoid wrinkles or bumps.

Voltage and range selection:

Gradually increase the voltage to avoid damaging the sample or instrument due to excessive voltage.

Start measuring from the low gear and observe the displayed value for 1-2 seconds at each gear to avoid exceeding the range.

Gear conversion: When switching between volume/surface resistance modes, the power must be turned off to prevent voltage shock from damaging the host.

3. Safety and Maintenance

Grounding and discharge: Ensure that the instrument is well grounded and fully discharge the sample and instrument after testing.

Reset operation: After the test is completed, adjust the range to "104" and turn off the power to protect the circuit.
