Magnetic flap level gaugeWhen choosing, attention should be paid to:
1Clarify measurement requirements
Measurement range: The range is determined based on the liquid level height of the storage tank or container, and the range of a single unit generally does not exceed4500mmThe ultra long range requires segmented production and the addition of supporting flanges.
Medium characteristics:
Viscosity: The viscosity of the medium should be ≤0.4Pa·sTo avoid affecting the movement of the float.
Density: The medium density needs to be within0.5~2.0g/cmBetween 3, if the density is too low, a special float design is required. If the density is too high, the float may get stuck.
Corrosive: weakly corrosive medium is optional304or316Lstainless steel; Strong acid, strong alkali, and pressure ≤1.6MPaTemperature ≤120At ℃, PTFE lined anti-corrosion type should be selected.
2Determine the installation method
Side mounted: Suitable for most ordinary liquid storage tanks, installed on the side of the tank and connected to the medium inside the tank through a connecting pipe.
Top mounted: suitable for underground storage tanks, fire water tanks, etc., for liquid level measurement and installation maintenance from the top.
Inverted type: suitable for special scenarios such as underground liquid storage tanks, measuring liquid level from bottom to top.
3Select key parameters
Flange parameters:
Size: Measurement range ≤3000mmWhen, it is recommended to connect the flange size asDN50Measurement range>3000mmAt that time, it is recommended toDN80.
Pressure rating: It must comply with the relevant regulations of piping and equipment to ensure that the flange contact surface can correspond.
Accuracy requirement: Choose the appropriate accuracy according to the requirements, with a general measurement accuracy of ±10mm~±20mm.
Protection level: Select the protection level according to the on-site environment to ensure that the equipment works normally in harsh environments.
