High pressure hydrothermal synthesis reactor is a closed container used for high-temperature and high-pressure chemical reactions
Date: 2025-09-10Read: 1
A high-pressure hydrothermal synthesis reactor (also known as a high-pressure digestion tank, polymerization reactor, etc.) is a sealed container used in laboratories to decompose insoluble substances. It accelerates substance digestion through a high-temperature (180-250 ℃) and high-pressure (≤ 3MPa) environment.
Add reactants and an appropriate amount of water to the reaction vessel, seal it, and provide heat energy through a heating device to dissolve the reactants and react with the solvent in the water. The high temperature and high pressure conditions required for a hydrothermal reactor can be achieved by heating and increasing the internal pressure of the reactor. The heating process is controlled by a temperature control system to ensure that the reaction proceeds within the required temperature range, and the pressure can be adjusted by adjusting the pressure valve inside the reactor or using inert gas.
Product Features
Good corrosion resistance: The kettle body usually has PTFE lining, which can withstand strong acids, strong alkalis, etc., without harmful substances overflowing, reducing pollution, and ensuring safe use.
Strong solubility: After heating and pressurization, it can quickly and non destructively dissolve samples that are difficult to dissolve under conventional conditions and samples containing volatile elements.
Easy to operate: The structure is reasonable, the installation and operation are simple, it is convenient for experimental personnel to use, and it is easy to clean after each use.
Operation precautions
Feeding coefficient: When pouring the reactants into a PTFE liner or PPL liner, the feeding coefficient should be less than 0.8 to avoid excessive pressure.
Sealing operation: Ensure that the lower gasket of the kettle body is in the correct position with the protrusion facing downwards, then insert the liner and upper gasket, tighten the kettle cover first, and then use screws to tighten the kettle cover.
Temperature control: Heat up to the desired reaction temperature according to the specified heating rate, and strictly follow the specified cooling rate when the reaction ends and cools down.
Opening timing: Confirm that the temperature inside the kettle is below the boiling point of the solvent in the reaction system before opening the kettle lid. First, use a screw to unscrew the kettle lid, and then open it again.
Cleaning and maintenance: After each use, the reaction kettle should be cleaned in a timely manner, especially the sealing parts of the kettle body and lid should be cleaned with extra attention to prevent damage from collision.
