Overview

The SL2-1 rain sensor is used to measure ground rainfall. The tipping bucket rain gauge consists of a water collector, tipping bucket, adjusting screw, reed switch, etc. During the measurement process, as the tipping bucket intermittently flips over, it drives the switch and sends out a series of pulse signals to convert non electricity into electricity output.

1、 Overview:

Working Principle:
SL2-1 typerainfall sensorUsed to measure ground rainfall, rainwater flows into a tipping bucket through a receiver with a surface area of 200cm2, and then into the tipping bucket through a filtering bucket. When a certain amount of rainwater flows into the tipping bucket, the tipping bucket flips and empties out the water in the bucket. The other side of the tipping bucket starts to receive water again. Each turning of the tipping bucket is converted into a pulse signal (1 pulse=0.1mm rainfall) through a reed switch and transmitted to the collection system.
