Construction of circular tube belt conveyor

The circular tube belt conveyor gradually forces the belt into a tube shape using rollers, while other parts such as rollers, tensioning devices, driving devices, and ordinary belt conveyors have the same structure. The structural principle is shown in Figure 8 4 1

After the transition section, the tape turns into a circular tube shape. In the conveying section, the tape runs steadily together with the material. When it reaches the unloading section, the tape and material change from a circular tube shape to a groove shape, and at the head drum, the tape becomes flat. The same applies to the empty segment (also known as the return segment). Some circular tube transport planes have a circular tube shape at the top and a flat shape at the bottom.

The closed transportation of materials is formed by a thousand round tube belt conveyor, which reduces environmental pollution, occupies a smaller area, and can turn freely and increase the material transportation angle. Therefore, it is a promising new type of transportation equipment. The following will introduce the construction of each part separately.
1. Construction of adhesive tape
There are mainly two types of rubber belts used in circular tube belt conveyors: nylon core belt and steel rope core belt. When the temperature is not too low, plastic tape can be considered.
Regardless of the type, its structure is different from that of ordinary rubber bands. In order to facilitate the formation of a tube shape, it is required that both sides of the tape be thinner to reduce the bending stiffness of the edges and make it easier to form a tube.

The bandwidth has become a series, ranging from 400 to 3100mm, and the pipe diameter from 100 to 850mm, with a total of 11 specifications. The filling coefficient of the material in the tube is 75% with a belt speed of v=1-5 m/s.
2. Layout type of rollers
The spacing between the rollers in the conveying section of the circular tube belt conveyor is determined by the diameter of the circular tube, and the larger the diameter of the circular tube, the greater the spacing between the rollers.
