Mivo - Dynamic Cultivation of Single Organ Model

It is an Organ on Chip technology platform designed specifically to simulate the physiological and pathological states of human tissues and organs. It breaks through the limitations of traditional static cell culture and animal models, providing research conditions closer to the real human environment through dynamic fluid control and multi organ connections.

The single organ model allows controlled cultivation of cells and tissues under physiological conditions to gain a deeper understanding of human disease behavior and single organ functional modeling.

The MIVO single organ platform allows for the processing of different environments (apical and basal chambers), with capabilities in flow rate, pH value, metabolic concentration, and other aspectsSet different culture media and flow conditions; Finally, mimic the complexity of human tissue. ®


MIVO ® Single Organ Platform

  • Function: Supports dynamic cultivation of single organ models (such as skin, lungs, liver, intestine, etc.).

The MIVO single stream configuration has an interface tissue that separates the donor chamber and the recipient chamber. When fluid flows at capillary velocity in the receptor chamber, the biological environment in the donor chamber remains stationary.

The MIVO Double Flow configuration has the ability to flow fluids in both the top and bottom chambers, allowing for comprehensive management of different culture media under controlled conditions such as flow rate, pH value, and metabolic concentration

The MIVO barrier configuration is designed specifically for studying epithelial barriers, with a separation membrane that can create two compartments for the donor and recipient compartments
