Overview

The main advantage of the lubrication mill is that the main support rotary system adopts large rolling bearings, which change from sliding to rolling, reducing resistance to 1/15 of the original. Compared with the bearing type lubrication mill, it can save 10% to 20% of electricity. Using dry oil grease instead of thin oil lubrication stations eliminates the need for expensive high and low pressure lubrication stations in large grinding machines.

Introduction to the Grinding Machine

The lubrication mill is the main equipment in the pellet process, which processes materials with a moisture content of 8% to 13%, thoroughly mixes and refines the materials, and increases the surface area of the material particles. The use of a lubrication mill equipment can shorten the production process of pellet ore, save equipment energy consumption, and improve the quality of pellet ore and metal recovery rate, as well as improve labor and environmental conditions. Therefore, it has been rapidly promoted in pellet ore technology.

The lubrication mill has three main characteristics based on the ball mill: forced feeding, peripheral ore discharge, and rubber lining plate.

Working principle of lubrication mill:

When the simplified body is driven to rotate by the surrounding large gears, the material is subjected to the impact of the grinding medium steel ball, as well as the grinding between the balls and between the balls and the cylinder lining plate, fully exposing the fresh surface of the material and achieving sufficient mixing. Finally, it is discharged from the mill through the discharge hole and enters the next process. This machine can effectively reduce the amount of bentonite added and improve the strength of the ball.

The lubrication mill is a single bin peripheral discharge mill. The material is fed into the interior of the cylinder through a hollow shaft at the feeding end, and is driven by a main motor through a coupling, reducer, and large and small gear device to rotate the cylinder containing grinding medium (steel balls); Under the combined action of friction and centrifugal force from the lining plate, the grinding medium is lifted to a certain height and falls down, giving the material an impact. The large particles of the material are crushed. In addition, the grinding effect between the material and the grinding medium (steel ball) lining plate forms a large number of needle shaped fine particles, which are fully mixed with bentonite. Finally, they are discharged from the grinding machine through the discharge holes around the cylinder, completing the lubrication process.
