The HZK LB-S model is a touch screen instrument control with printing, authorization, alarm, storage, and audit tracking functions.

1. There are two heating methods for carbon dioxide incubators, water jacket and gas jacket. Water is a good insulation material. The temperature drop rate of the water jacket incubator is slow during the opening process, which can effectively maintain the temperature of the incubator. However, the disadvantage is that it requires adding water, emptying the water tank, and cleaning. The gas jacket incubator is directly heated by a heater and is simpler to operate than the water jacket incubator. But the heat dissipation is fast, and if the door is opened for a long time, the temperature will drop a lot. Nowadays, there are mostly gas sleeve incubators on the market.

2. General cell culture requires a temperature of 37 degrees and a concentration of 5% carbon dioxide, which is also effective for mold growth. Maintaining the sterility of the incubator is crucial. If your incubator is not placed in a laminar flow laboratory, bacteria will often grow on the iron plate, making cleaning difficult, especially when the utilization rate of the incubator is high. Nowadays, most methods use adding saturated copper sulfate to the humidification tray for treatment, which is still quite effective. However, if there are environmental requirements that prevent it from being stored, the water in the humidification tray needs to be changed frequently. My suggestion is to replace it every two weeks. Some incubators have added ultraviolet light tubes to illuminate the humidification tray, which I think is useless and can still grow bacteria over time. Some incubators also have filters, usually located at the top of the incubator. This device is more effective than ultraviolet and can also be used as a reference. Try to disinfect your hands with alcohol when taking and placing culture dishes and bottles.

3. The concentration of carbon dioxide also has a significant impact on the entire cultivation environment. Generally, concentration detection systems use infrared conduction, but these products will produce carbon dioxide numerical drift after a period of use. It is recommended to choose incubators with infrared calibration. If it is old-fashioned, there is a machine that can display the carbon dioxide value even after you turn off the carbon dioxide. After cleaning, this type of incubator does not use carbon dioxide and is left at a constant temperature and humidity overnight. After adjusting the displayed carbon dioxide value to zero, the calibration is completed. If the machine does not display, it needs to be left without carbon dioxide for more than 4 hours, because the infrared conduction detector can only work accurately at 37 degrees Celsius and above 95% humidity. Improper operation can cause a deviation in carbon dioxide concentration. You can also hire professionals to regularly calibrate the carbon dioxide incubator, but there will be a fee. It seems that 500 yuan per time is still one unit, with prices for the first two years.

4. Good usage and maintenance habits are the key to equipment control and the key to cultivating satisfactory results.
