The biotin detection kit uses microbial methods to quantitatively detect the total amount of biotin (added biotin and native biotin) in food, feed, and drugs. The reagent kit contains all the reagents and standards required for the experiment, and can perform 96 measurements.
The biotin detection kit uses microbial methods to quantitatively detect the total amount of biotin in food, feed, and drugs. This microbial detection method follows the AOAC international standards and complies with national standards. Add the culture medium and diluted sample extract into the micropores coated with Lactobacillus plantarum, and the Lactobacillus plantarum will grow straight until all the nutrients in the culture medium are consumed. Incubate at 37 ℃ in the dark for 44-48 hours. The growth status (turbidity) of plant lactobacilli is positively correlated with biotin content. The turbidity of the sample can be measured using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) reader at wavelengths of 610-630nm or 540-550nm, and the biotin content can be obtained by comparing the turbidity of the sample with the standard curve.
