1ZX80C megohmmeter standard resistorpurpose
This resistor is mainly used for calibrating various megohmmeters and insulation resistance meters with a rated voltage of 2500V during production or repair. It is also suitable for checking or calibrating insulation high resistance meters and can be used as a standard high resistance box in other circuits.

The components used in this resistor are all metal film resistors produced by Sino US joint ventures. After careful selection by our company, their resistors have the characteristics of low voltage coefficient, low temperature coefficient, and good stability. This resistor adopts the latest design of high-voltage resistant and high insulation lightweight transfer switch in its internal structure, making the instrument have the characteristics of clear gear shifting and easy use. This resistor adopts high insulation material and light pressure structure, therefore it has the advantages of low contact pressure, long service life, small contact resistance variation, and high insulation resistance. The entire resistor is housed within a metal casing, thus providing excellent electrostatic shielding.

The level index and maximum operating voltage or current (i.e. reference voltage or current) of each decimal plate are shown in Table 1.

When changing from the highest operating voltage or current to 1/5 of the highest operating voltage or current, the variation in resistance caused by the change in voltage or current should not exceed the corresponding level index.

Nominal operating temperature: 23 ± 5 ℃
5. This resistor is suitable for use in environments with an ambient air temperature of 23 ± 5 ℃ and a relative humidity of ≤ 80%.
6. Insulation resistance of the circuit to the shell: ≥ 1 × 1012 Ω.
7. The insulation strength of the circuit to the shell should be able to withstand a 50Hz sine wave voltage of 5000V, tested for one minute.
