XA241L left foot phantom is used for X-ray, CT, DR calibration testing. The foot phantom includes the lower third of the tibia and fibula, as well as all the bones of the foot. The left foot is in a relaxed state, while the right foot is in plantar flexion.

XA241L left foot modelIt is a segmented foot phantom produced by Phantom Laboratory in the United States, used for X-ray/CT/DR imaging calibration, technical training, and equipment quality control.


There are two types of cross-sectional foot models to choose from: XA241L, with the left foot in a relaxed state; XA241R, The right foot is in plantar flexion.


XA241L left foot model For each cross-sectional model, a set of natural human bones will be reconstructed into an average sized male mold, and then our RANDO will be used ® The material is cast. Opaque RANDO ® The material simulates the absorption rate of X-rays, atomic number, and specific gravity of soft tissue. Another advantage of this polyurethane material is its durability. This segmented model can withstand significant impact forces and remain intact during continuous transportation. The size and shape of many human bones do not match our moldsComplete - AllConsistently, they reflect the natural characteristics of humans themselves, such as asymmetry and joint deformities. During the process of reconstructing bones by our technicians, some details may be fine tuned to facilitate their positioning in the mold.


Anatomical structure (precise replication)

  • Bones: including the lower one-third of the tibia and fibula and the entire foot bones (tarsal, metatarsal, and phalangeal).

  • Attitude:

    • XA241R (right foot): Plantar flexion position (simulating standing/weight-bearing).

    • XA241L (left foot): Natural relaxation position (neutral/non load bearing).

  • Soft tissue: using RANDO ® Specialized equivalent material, with X-ray attenuation coefficient and atomic number completely consistent with human soft tissue.

  • Bone Material: Natural human bone casting (metal/liquid free), cortical and cancellous bone radiation characteristics comply with ICRU standards.

  • Outer skin material: high-density polyurethane, impact resistant, wear-resistant, non fragile, and can be used repeatedly for a long time.

  • Imaging equivalence: Consistent with the density and contrast of real patient X-ray/CT images, it can replace real people for quality control and training.
