Thermo Scientific ARL The EQUINOX 100 X-ray diffractometer is a compact and economical X-ray diffractometer designed specifically for QA/QC, academic, and conventional X-ray diffraction applications. It only occupies one-third of the space of a traditional diffractometer, and its independence and mobility give it true flexibility. It does not require water cooling equipment and can be directly connected to a standard power supply. This device simplifies the operation process without affecting speed or performance. The measurement can be completed within a few seconds, and at the same time, the software automatically saves the test conditions.

The micro focused X-ray source uses a low-power X-ray tube, but can generate high-intensity X-rays. This is because the design utilizes a lens system to focus the incident X-rays. Therefore, even at low power, the X-ray flux that diffracts with the sample is still much higher than that of traditional XRD systems.
