The ARL EQUINOX 1000 uses standard high-power X-ray tubes. Install a monochromator in the optical path. If a graphite monochromator is configured, the sensitivity of the instrument can be improved. If a germanium monochromator is configured, the resolution can be improved. The ARL EQUINOX 1000 can also be equipped with the SiamX dual monochromator system (a two in one device of germanium and graphite monochromators), which can easily convert between two optical modes.
