The white light illuminance meter LUYOR-560 for detecting black light flaw detection lamps can accurately measure the visible light illuminance leaked from ultraviolet flaw detection lamps, fluorescent lamps, and black light lamps, displayed in foot candles (fc) or Lux units.. Many illuminance meters on the market, when measuring the white light illuminance of flaw detection black lamps, have significant deviations between the measured data and the actual data, resulting in misjudgment that the white light of the black lamp exceeds the standard and is unqualified. In fact, these white light illuminance meters can only measure the illuminance of the environment and the illuminance of white light fixtures, and cannot detect the white light illuminance of black light fixtures used for flaw detection.

The main reason is that under ultraviolet irradiation, the light shield of the illuminance sensor of the white light illuminance meter produces bright fluorescence, which causes the white light of the black light lamp to exceed the standard.

Considering the harsh environment of the non-destructive testing industry, the sensor will soon be severely contaminated. The LUYOR-560 white light illuminance meter is designed with a replaceable ultraviolet filter. If the ultraviolet filter is contaminated or scratched, causing measurement errors in the illuminance meter, customers can directly replace the sensor's ultraviolet filter.
