Characteristics: Strong moisture absorption, fast onset, suitable for temporary roads or emergency dust suppression, but with a short duration (several hours to several days), long-term use may have slight corrosiveness to metals.

Polymer class (long-lasting dust fixing type)
Ingredients: Polyacrylamide (PAM), Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC), Sodium Polyacrylate, etc.
Characteristics: When in contact with water, it forms a viscous colloid that wraps around dust and forms a film. It is resistant to rolling and wind erosion, and its dust suppression effect can last for several weeks. It is widely used in mines, dirt roads, and urban roads.
Biological/plant-based (environmentally friendly and biodegradable)
Ingredients: Sodium alginate, guar gum, starch, lignosulfonate, etc.
Characteristics: Natural source, fully biodegradable, suitable for ecologically sensitive areas or agricultural roads, but relatively weak resistance to rainwater erosion.
Composite type (multifunctional integration)
Ingredients: Combining inorganic salts+polymers+plant fibers or nanomaterials.
Features: It combines rapid moisture absorption, strong adhesion, and long-lasting moisturizing functions, adapting to complex climates and high traffic roads, and is currently the mainstream direction of research and application.
