Wet bulb black bulb temperature WBGT-2006 thermal index meterThe wet bulb black bulb temperature (WBGT) index is used to evaluate the meteorological conditions of high-temperature workshops, taking into account four factors: air temperature, air humidity, wind speed, and radiant heat. WBGT is composed of three parts: natural wet ball, black ball, and dry ball. The temperature reading of the black sphere is affected by air humidity, wind speed, radiation heat, and air temperature. It evaluates the thermal load of high-temperature workers and implements labor safety and health classification management based on the thermal intensity of the high-temperature working environment, effectively preventing the occurrence of heat stroke and protecting the personal safety of hot workers.
