The JWL-5 liquid impact microbial aerosol sampler (also known as the liquid impact sampler) consists of a sampling bottle, an inlet bend, a nozzle, and a controller. The structure of the liquid impact microbial sampler consists of a 90 degree curved inlet pipe and an outer bottle for collecting the sampling liquid. The bend on the upper part of the intake pipe simulates the obstruction of aerosol particles by the human upper respiratory tract. At the end of the tube, there is a microporous nozzle that accelerates the airflow to the speed of sound. The jet airflow is used to collect microbial particles in the air into the liquid sampling medium. Due to the adhesiveness of liquids, microbial particles are captured.

1、 Product Introduction

3、 Main applications
Liquid impact microbial samplerEspecially suitable for concentration determination in experimental air microbiology. Aerosol sampling is commonly used in experiments such as the dosage of microbial aerosols for animal infections, the recovery rate of microbial aerosol survival, the study of aerosol tracers, the dosage of human aerosol immunity, the sterilization effect of air disinfectants and sterilizers, and the retention effect of filter materials and filters. Meet the requirements of the sampler described in Test Method 6.3 6.2.2 of the pharmaceutical industry standard YY0569-2011. Can be used in conjunction with JWL-6 six stage sieve impact microbial sampler.

4、 Product Features
1. Suitable for sampling high concentration microbial aerosols, the collected samples can be diluted to accurately determine the concentration of airborne microbial particles.
2. The collected samples can be analyzed separately, divided into several parts, and measured using several methods to achieve multiple experimental objectives; A portion of the sampling solution can also be stored in the refrigerator for repeated measurements and further analysis.
3. During the sampling process, the liquid impact sampler can release multiple microorganisms from the microbial particle cluster due to airflow impact and agitation of the sampling liquid, evenly distributed in the sampling liquid. After further biological cultivation, it can accurately measure the number of microorganisms in the air.
4. High capture rate. It is particularly sensitive to small particle aerosols and can capture particles as small as 0.5 μ m.
5. The sampling solution has a protective effect and can also sample fragile microorganisms such as viruses and rickettsia.
