The Wuhan Sports Institute Gymnasium laid its foundation on March 28, 2010 and started construction on May 5. The building covers an area of 7867 square meters and has a total construction area of 16343 square meters. The interior design height of the main hall of the sports arena is 23 meters, the span of the hall is 66 meters, and the seating capacity is 4000. This is also the main venue for the 2nd National Intellectual Games competition. The gymnasium is divided into an underground level and an above ground competition hall, with one attached hall on each side.

This museum will be the venue for the boxing competition of the 2019 World Military Games. The existing lighting equipment cannot meet the current lighting needs, and there is an urgent need to renovate the mining lights and floodlights to meet the current lighting requirements.
