Therefore, welding rods must be strictly dried before use. The drying temperature for general acidic welding rods is 150-200 ℃ for 1 hour; The drying temperature of alkaline welding rods is 300-350 ℃ for 1-2 hours. After drying, they are placed in an insulated box at 100-150 ℃ and can be taken as needed.
Welding rod drying box-Precautions

1. The welding rod drying box must have a reliable grounding to ensure safety. When powered on, avoid using the box type side door, which has electrical circuits inside to prevent electric shock. Do not wipe with a damp cloth or rinse with water.

2. Water should not be splashed on the glass of the observation window of the box door during work to prevent the glass from bursting due to sudden cooling.

3. It is strictly prohibited to put flammable materials into the box for high-temperature baking tests to avoid explosions.

4. This drying oven is a non explosion proof product. Belonging to Class I, Type B ordinary equipment, there should be someone on duty during operation.

5. When moving the welding rod drying oven, the power should be cut off and the items inside the oven should be taken out to prevent electric shock and damage.

6. Keep the box and power lines clean regularly. If there is a malfunction, stop using them and send them to a professional maintenance unit for repair!

1. The motor produces noise and the bearings are damaged. The bearings or motor should be replaced;

2. If the temperature controller displays abnormally and keeps heating up, the temperature measuring head will age/die, and it should be replaced in emergency situations;

3. If the temperature error is large, inaccurate, and the temperature measurement is aging, replace the temperature measuring head (note: temperature measuring head division number K, S, J, etc.)
