Welding ball blanks are generally cut using semi-automatic gas cutting (using a cutting compass to cut circles), imitation gas cutting, and CNC flame gas cutting. In order to achieve high production efficiency, flame CNC cutting machines are used.

1. Firstly, material inspection shall be conducted after the purchase of steel plates. Only after passing the material inspection can the steel plate be cut according to the size. After the steel plate is cut, it is screened and inspected. A flat disc is selected and heated to 850-900 ℃ by a high-temperature boiler, and then hot pressed into a hemispherical shape using a high-pressure hydraulic press.

2. After the hemisphere is formed, its roundness is inspected. After the roundness is qualified, it is machined on a lathe to cut the edges and make a groove.

3. After the cutting of the hemispherical edge groove is completed, the partially sized hemispherical assembly is positioned and welded with rib plates inside, and then the welding of the finished ball is carried out.

4. Welding is automatically formed by a carbon dioxide gas shielded welding machine, and quality inspectors inspect its diameter, roundness, misalignment, welding height, and other aspects.
