The spinning forming of the head can be divided into cold spinning, warm spinning, and hot spinning. Cold spinning refers to the spinning and forming of raw sheet metal at room temperature. Due to material plasticity limitations, there are not many head materials that can be formed by cold spinning.
The head warm spinning forming technology is mainly used for forming medium thick plate heads and heads made of materials that are difficult to cold deform. The spinning process of heating metal to a temperature below the recrystallization temperature or forging temperature is generally called warm spinning. Hot spinning is the process of heating a metal to a temperature above the recrystallization temperature or forging temperature. As the temperature increases, the plasticity of the metal also increases. The influence of deformation speed on plasticity is a complex problem. As the deformation speed increases, there is both a side that reduces the plasticity of the metal and the opposite side, and the effect of deformation speed varies at different temperatures.
