1、 Equipment features

The damage caused by rainwater in nature to products and materials results in incalculable economic losses every year. The damage caused mainly includes corrosion, fading, deformation, decreased strength, expansion, mold, etc., especially electrical products that are prone to fire due to short circuits caused by rainwater. Therefore, conducting a shell protection water test for specific products or materials is a key procedure.

This waterproof testing equipment can be used to assess and determine whether the enclosures and seals of electrical and electronic products, various electrical appliances, and lighting fixtures can ensure good working performance of the equipment and components after or during water testing. The device can simulate the external rainy environment and fully reproduce the impact of the external rainy environment on the product.

This device is used for manual simulation of rain tests, excluding rainfall with strong wind speeds, and does not consider the large amount of water ingress caused by the temperature difference between the test sample and the rainwater temperature.

The rain test chamber mainly provides various water testing environments for waterproof and reliability assessment. This equipment meets the requirements ofGB4208-2017 (IEC 60529) protection level, GB2423.38 (IEC 60068-2-18) test Ra2, GB/T30038-2013 road vehicle electrical and electronic equipment protection level (IP code), GB-T 4942.1-2006 protection level (IP code) classification of rotating electrical machine overall structure, GB 7000.1 (IEC 60598-1) general requirements and testing of lamps, and other standards' test requirements.

(2) Introduction to Structural Design

1. This device is detachable and suitable for immediate assembly at the customer's location after long-distance transportation, which is fast, convenient, and shortens the installation and debugging cycle. Composed of aluminum alloy bracket, lifting guide rail, drip tank, automatic elevator, flow meter, adjustable angle worktable, etc. The components in contact with water are all made of corrosion-resistant materials such as stainless steel and aluminum alloy.

2. Fixed columns and brackets: Made of high-quality aluminum alloy profiles, easy to disassemble and assemble quickly.

3. Drip tank: Made of 2.0mm SUS304 stainless steel plate, with a pressure resistant seal on the top. Drip holes are arranged in a matrix of 20 × 20mm. The specially designed drip nozzle adopts an imported 22G glue injection needle with an inner diameter of 0.4mm, and the drip tank is equipped with a level gauge.
