Varioskan ALF multifunctional microplate analyzer Thermo Scientific Varioskan ALF multifunctional microplate analyzer is a multifunctional entry-level microplate analyzer suitable for the most common absorbance, turbidity, fluorescence, and luminescence microplate detection. Its photometric optical design is based on xenon flash lamps and monochromators, enabling continuous wavelength selection from ultraviolet to visible light range (up to 1000 nm). A wide wavelength range can achieve many common detections, including nucleic acid and protein quantification, bacterial growth curves, ELISA, and cell viability.

The Varioskan ALF multifunctional enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is a new member of the Varioskan family, which uses a grating and filter optical path to provide you with a flexible and easy-to-use experimental solution.

The Varioskan ALF multifunctional microplate reader is a universal multifunctional microplate reader suitable for detecting light absorption, turbidity, fluorescence, and chemiluminescence. The optical design of this instrument is based on xenon flash lamps and gratings, achieving continuous wavelength selection from ultraviolet visible near-infrared (200-1000 nm). Fluorescence and chemiluminescence use filter light paths to achieve optimal sensitivity.

Support multiple common assays, including nucleic acid and protein quantification, bacterial growth curve, ELISA, and cell health. For example, Thermo Scientific Quant iT DNA quantification, PrestoBlue, and AlamarBlue cell viability assays.

The Varioskan ALF optical design is also suitable for Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET) and Bioluminescence Resonance Energy Transfer (BRET) detection.

The innovative automatic gain adjustment function can select the ideal fluorescence or chemiluminescence reading voltage based on the signal strength inside the hole, eliminating the need for manual adjustment of measurement parameters. One detection can obtain complete data from low to high concentrations, and is also suitable for dynamic detection of signal changes over time, as well as exploratory analysis of unknown signals. While ensuring optimal sensitivity, the dynamic range is widened while ensuring data consistency and comparability.
