The Vaisala PEROXCAP H2O2, humidity, and temperature probes HPP271 and HPP272 are designed for harsh H2O2 biological purification environments, where repeatable, stable, and accurate measurements are required. The HPP270 series probes are suitable for various application scenarios, such as isolators, material transfer warehouses, and indoor biological purification.

The upgraded HPP272 probe option provides the parameters you need to measure during biological disinfection: H2O2 gas concentration, temperature, and humidity (relative mixing saturation and relative humidity).

Humidity monitoring

Similar to water, H2O2 vapor can affect the humidity level of disinfected air. By measuring relative saturation, the upgraded HPP272 probe option will indicate the overall humidity level caused by the combination of water vapor and H2O2 vapor. Therefore, it can reliably detect when air begins to condense during the biological disinfection process.

The measurement results for highly condensed environments have high repeatability

Intelligent measurement technology, including sensor clearing function, helps maintain accuracy between calibrations in challenging H2O2 environments. The clearing function quickly heats the sensor to eliminate possible contamination.

The PEROXCAP sensor used in the HPP270 series probe adopts a heating design to prevent condensation from forming on the sensor. In this way, reliable measurements can be provided even in condensation environments.

Compatible with Indigo and Insight

This probe can be connected to Vaisala Indigo data processing units and Indigo80 handheld display heads, expanding the available feature selection.

Indigo products offer a range of additional display, output, and relay options, as well as convenient interfaces for monitoring, configuring, calibrating, and adjusting.

For ease of configuration, calibration, and adjustment, the probe can be connected to the Vaisala Insight PC software

Vaisala provides traceable calibration

Each probe and sensor is manufactured and calibrated separately in Vaisala's facilities. Provide traceable calibration certificates: 2 H2O2 calibration points, 3 humidity calibration points, and 1 temperature calibration point.

The new basic probe option HPP271 is only used to measure H2O2 vapor concentration, while the new high-quality option HPP272 provides the following main parameters that need to be measured during the biological purification process: H2O2 vapor concentration, temperature, and humidity (relative mixing saturation and relative humidity). In addition, dew point and vapor pressure can also be measured.

The probe can be equipped with Vaisala Indigo transmitters (Indigo500, Indigo200) or used as a standalone probe. For ease of configuration, calibration, and adjustment, the probe can be connected to the Vaisala Insight PC software.
