Used Shimadzu TMA-60 Thermal Mechanical AnalyzerProduct Features
·The multifunctional TMA-60 can be used for various shapes of samples (such as columns, films, and fibers) and different measurement types (expansion, stretching, and needle punching) using the full expansion method. By using the LTB-60 cooling furnace, measurements below room temperature can be achieved. )
·In order to measure the thermal expansion characteristics of ceramics and glass more accurately, TMA-60H uses differential expansion method, providing more precise results for measurements in the high temperature range.
·A new type of high-precision, low drift displacement sensor is used. Due to the use of high-precision digital displacement sensors, the measurement accuracy of TMA-60/60H has significantly improved compared to traditional TMA. Meanwhile, the displacement measurement range covers various deformations ranging from small to significant.
·The automatic measurement function of TMA-60 is a truly innovative technology. By using the automatic measurement method of TMA-60, the digital position sensor can directly measure the deformation of the sample. So, compared to the method of calculating the sample length by calculating the movement distance, TMA-60 can obtain more accurate results.
·TMA-60 and TMA-60H furnace bodies are easy to replace, and the plug-in sample temperature sensor fundamentally simplifies maintenance.
·The standard system contains gas flow channels that allow for independent introduction of purge gas or water vapor and reaction gas. (Use the optional FC-60A to control automatic gas switching).
·Built in cooling fan, which can automatically cool the furnace body after measurement.
TMA-60 (fully expandable)
Directly measure the absolute size change of the sample.
One machine is versatile and supports three measurement modes: expansion, stretching, and needle insertion.
Applicable samples: various shapes such as block, film, fiber, etc.
TMA-60H (differential expansion type)
Using the reference method (comparing with a standard substance with a known coefficient of expansion).
Specially designed for high-precision measurement of low expansion coefficient materials such as ceramics and glass.
Temperature range:
TMA-60: Room temperature~1000 ° C; optional LTB-60 low-temperature furnace can reach -150~600 ° C.
TMA-60H: Room temperature to 1500 ° C.
Displacement range: ± 5 mm
Load range: 0~± 5 N
Loading modes: constant force, constant variable rate, shrinkage stress, cyclic loading
Size/Weight: 367 (W) × 624 (D) × 880 (H) mm/approximately 45 kg
High precision displacement detection
By adopting a new high-precision and low drift digital displacement sensor, the entire process from extremely low expansion (such as Super Invar) to large deformation can be accurately measured.
Multi functionality and ease of use
One click disassembly and assembly of sample stage and probe, quick switching of measurement mode.
Built in anti melting and anti sticking mechanism to prevent the sample from sticking to the probe at high temperatures.
Automatic sample length measurement function, simplifying operation.
