Product Details

Ultrasonic emulsification equipment is a device that uses ultrasonic oscillation for emulsification. It consists of an ultrasonic transducer, a housing, a variable amplitude rod, a tool head (probe), and a driving power supply. This equipment can be used to mix water molecules and essential oil to form nanometer lotion.

The principle of ultrasonic emulsification is to couple power ultrasonic waves into a liquid system, causing oscillation of the ultrasonic waves and thus affecting the liquid. When ultrasound propagates in liquid, it generates a sound field that causes small particles in the liquid to vibrate, resulting in micro turbulence and interface motion. This motion makes the boundary phase transition unstable, causing the dispersed (internal) phase to eventually rupture and form droplets in the continuous (external) phase. At the same time, the application of low-frequency and high-power ultrasonic waves can cause cavitation, which forms microbubbles or voids in the medium through ultrasonic cavitation. These microbubbles continue to grow over multiple wave cycles until they collapse violently. This type of bubble implosion can cause local conditions such as very high shear forces, liquid jets, and heating and cooling rates. These ultimate forces decompose the dispersed (internal) primary droplets into nanoscale droplets and uniformly mix them into a continuous (external) phase.
The principle of ultrasonic emulsification is to use high-frequency vibration generated by ultrasonic vibration equipment to decompose water molecules and essential oils into nano-sized cold mist with a diameter of 0.1-5 microns, which is emitted into the surrounding air, filling the air with fragrance. The ultrasound generated during this process can quickly mix water and essential oils, known as emulsification.
The specific operation process is as follows:
Pour water into the essential oil and mix to form the first mixture.
Adding an ultrasonic oscillation device with a frequency of 20kHz to the mixture can melt the water and remove suspended solids.
By using ultrasonic treatment with specific frequencies, various types of vanilla oils can be easily emulsified with high yields of water solubility, and can effectively prevent layer separation of oil and water for a long time, which has the advantage of being widely applicable to various types of vanilla oils.
An important feature of ultrasonic emulsification equipment is that it can produce extremely stable lotion without or with less emulsifier. At the same time, it can control the type of lotion. Under certain sound field conditions, both O/W (oil in water) and W/O (water in oil) lotion can be prepared, which is impossible for mechanical emulsification.
In addition, ultrasonic emulsification equipment has the advantages of good emulsification quality, high production efficiency, and low cost, and has been increasingly valued and adopted by various industrial sectors, becoming one of the important modern emulsification equipment.
