UGSThe (UNS) series color quartz tube level gauge (hereinafter referred to as the color level gauge) is developed using the latest technology at home and abroad. It utilizes the principle of natural light refraction and reflection in liquids, with the help of red and green plates, to make the liquid phase display green and the gas phase display red during measurement. Due to the large contrast and clear indication of liquid and gas phases, it is more advantageous for remote operation and night patrols. Therefore, it is widely used in various transparent liquid containers and boilers in industries such as petroleum, chemical, power, metallurgy, etc., for liquid level measurement of oil products and chemical raw materials such as water, gasoline, liquefied gas, liquid ammonia, propane, propylene, aromatic hydrocarbons, acids, etc. For interface measurements of two different medium densities, a three color interface quartz tube level gauge can be used. The three color interface quartz tube liquid level gauge is designed based on the principle of buoyancy and specific gravity difference. The small float in the quartz tube is suspended at the boundary between the two media. Due to the black color of the float, the liquid level color in the upper and lower parts is different, so the display is eye-catching. Thus solving the problem of unclear interface between two mixed media that has been troubling in the petrochemical production process. It is currently the most ideal direct reading liquid level gauge both domestically and internationally.

Pay attention to the issue

1Color level gauges should be handled with care during transportation and installation to prevent breakage of quartz tubes and color filters. Check if the accessories are complete before unboxing, and carefully read the user manual before installation.

2Before installation, the color swatch should be considered for strong natural light sources (southeast direction). To adjust the direction of the color filter and observation position, loosen the large hex nuts at both ends and tighten them. At the same time, do not disassemble the quartz tube when adjusting the position of the color filter.

3The liquid level gauge has been pressure tested at 1.5 times the working pressure before leaving the factory. Users can conduct a water pressure test at 1.5 times the working pressure if conditions permit.
