Due to the presence of corrosive liquids and gases, the metal in these areas rapidly corrodes. It has a series of advantages such as long service life, low cost, reliability, no maintenance required, and beautiful appearance. This type of product has been promoted and used in the United States for more than 30 years, and the production, use, and sales of FRP grilles have been standardized, serialized, commercialized, and widely used. In the reconstruction work of oil fields in the Gulf region and the Middle East, experts have demonstrated that using FRP grids is an economically reasonable material and is therefore being widely used. FRP grilles are also being used in regions such as Asia and Singapore.
Precautions for Trash Rack Manufacturers
1. Due to its low density and lightweight material, installing fiberglass grating in areas with high groundwater levels can easily cause floating pipes. Therefore, anti floating measures such as installing anchor blocks or diverting rainwater runoff must be considered.
2. In the construction of opening tees and repairing pipeline cracks on the installed fiberglass grating, it is required to have completely dry conditions similar to those in the factory building, and the resin and fiber cloth used during construction need 7-8 hours to cure. However, it is generally difficult to meet this requirement for on-site construction and repair.
3. The existing underground pipeline detection equipment mainly focuses on detecting metal pipelines, while non-metallic pipeline detection instruments are expensive. Therefore, after the fiberglass grating is buried underground, it cannot be detected, and other subsequent construction units are prone to digging and damaging pipelines during construction.
4. Fiberglass grating has poor UV resistance. The exposed fiberglass grating is delayed in aging time by making a 0.5mm thick resin rich layer and ultraviolet absorber (processed in the factory) on its surface. As the running time progresses, the rich resin layer and ultraviolet absorber will be damaged, thereby affecting their service life.
